imPRESS Press-on Manicure by Broadway Review

This product I am doing a review on today is something that I don't normally use however I received this product in my holiday Voxbox from Influenster. You can check out their website as well as the website for the imPRESS Press-on Manicure to look at their other designs! The design I am applying to my nails is Lil Drumr Grl which resembles a pink/black zebra print.
The application for this product is so simple its great! The packaging is super cute which is the first thing I fell in love with! The manicure comes with a prep pad for your natural nails so the press-ons will stick the best. The back of each nail is equipted with a gel like adhesive that binds to nail in such a way that makes this manicure feel like its apart of your natural nail. This is something that surprised me the most! I was so impressed when I put it on because it doesn't feel like other press on nails! They feel like my natural nails and I am so excited that I can do anything and feel like my mani is still going to look perfect! I am curious to go to work and see how they hold up through my very hands on job.

I chose a nail to fit each nail and used the prep pad. I held each nail by its sides and peeled back the clear protector with the pull tab. I placed the nail on my natural nail to get the placement right. I pressed the nail on firmly to make sure the edges were stuck. THATS IT! Can you believe it!? I was SHOCKED at how natural they feel. I am for sure a repeat customer and I hope to turn all my girlfriends onto this product!

Montagne Jeunesse Peel Off Masque Review

So in my holiday Voxbox from Influenster I received a facial peel from a company called Montagne Jeunesse. You can visit their website here and take a look at all of their other Products. I am reviewing the Cucumber peel which is a product that I have used regularly in the past. I am a huge fan of this product and I hope because of Influenster, it becomes more popular! Whats great about this product is last I knew it was available at walmart for a very affordable price. :)
The directions are very simple for this product. Wash your face before applying the masque. The masque goes on clear which I tried to capture in  a picture below. Let the masque sit on your face to dry for 15-20 minutes. I find that I am waiting more toward 20 minutes.

(The right pic above is after the masque dries. As you can see, it doesn't change much in appearance.) The masque is completely dry and usually peels off in one or a few pieces. The masque, when dry, will make your skin feel very tight and when you move your facial muscles it may start to peel on its own away from your face but thats completely ok. After you peel off the masque you can enjoy the way your skin feels! I love how it smoothes your skin to make it super soft and feel so light and refreshed. I can't wait for my next one!

Thanks xo Meg.

Influenster Holiday VoxBox

OMG! I got a VoxBox! I was shocked when it came in the mail! I signed up for Influenster a few weeks ago when I saw all of the videos on youtube about them. I was so stoked to open it and try all the goodies!

They send a card in the box giving a description of all the items that are in the box.

The first item is SoftsoapCoconut Scrub Bar Soap 2 Pack. This soap smells so wonderful. The packaging describes it as "Bar soap enriched with crushed coconut extract and gentle exfoliants" <--Can't Wait!

The next item is imPRESS Press-on Manicure by Broadway. This is exactly what the name says, a press on mani that comes in this adorable nail polish bottle shaped packaging. I received the pink zebra design called "Lil Drumr Grl." There was a card in the box showing all of the designs that Broadway offers as well as a coupon for a $1 off an imPRESS mani.

Next is a trial size peel off masque by Montaagne Jeunesse in Cucumber. I have used this product before and I actually have some in my bathroom right now so I am super excited to have gotten this! I hope others who got Holiday VoxBoxes will love it as much as I do!

Mentos Gum Pure Fresh was also included. I'm not much of a gum chewer but Mykel assured me it has lots of flavor and it lasted a long time.

NYC liquid lipshine was also in my box in the shade Nude York City #582. This is a gloss that is slightly darker than my lip shade so it may look more brown on fair skin. It has multiple colors of shimmer for a perfect winter lip :)

Larabar is a brand I have never seen up here in Maine before but I'm sure it won't disappoint! I got the Peanut Butter Cookie and I was surprised by this product. It was a wholesome taste and you can definately tell that it is completely natural. I wish I could find them here!

I hope you all enjoyed and I will try to post the application and wear of the imPRESS manicure.

Enchanted Water Marble

Today I decided to post pics of a water marble I did a while back. This color combo is every "enchanted" hence the name in the tutorial I made. Watch the video on  youtube of how I made this design.

I applied a base of Milani HD which is their silver holo. I also included this color into the water marble so the background becomes opaque. The design includes China Glaze's , Senorita Bonita (purple), Unplugged (brown) and Pure Torture (Orange).

I am just loving this color combination! The colors are perfect for fall and the Holo gives it the extra touch that makes it pop!

Enjoy :) xo Meg

The top picture gives the most accurate color of the shade.

Wet n Wild Sage in the City + Teal of Fortune

So these two colors are Wet n Wild and are bold and bright! I love both of these and to wear them is to deffinately make a statement!

Wet n Wild Sage in the City

This is two coats, which it probably could have used a third. Even so, this is a stunningly bright and vibrant green that is perfect for summer.

This next color is Teal of Fortune also from Wet n Wild. This color I saw at a discount and thought to get it because I remember a few references to this color.

This one could have also used a third coat. Oh well, still looks wonderful!

Until next time..xo Meg

China Glaze Sea Spray

This swatch is China Glaze Sea Spray. I got this along with a bunch of other shades at Ulta. I love how subtle it is but it still makes a statement.

This color looks more grey in the pictures than it is in real life. It has a more blue hue in natural sun and unfortunately I took these pics in the middle of the night. LOL I need to work on my timing to get the best sun light to show off my nails potential.

Hope you like.

Color Club Love 'Em Leave 'Em

Two posts in 6 hours! Whoo Whoo I'm on a role! So I have had this color for a few weeks now and I am just getting around to swatching it. I am loving this nude shade which I think is great for winter. Its subtle but when the sun hits these beauties its wonderful!! :)

I decided to try a little stamping with my new plate! I convinced Mykel to give me a small gift early and Konad plate m59 was it! For those who don't have this plate you should totally get it. It has cute snowflakes for winter and two different bows which is what I used.

Until next time..

China Glaze Grape Pop + Latticed Lilac

Holy Smokes! I haven't been on here in what seems like forever! I have been focusing on my YouTube Channel so I have neglected this lovely blog. The holidays are coming so fast! I feel like I have been buying gifts everyday and wrapping and everything else.

Well today I have China Glaze Grape Pop which is a stunning darker shade of purple which I like for the fall. Its dark enough for the colder months however it will get you noticed!

I hadn't used the Latticed Lilac by China Glaze so I decided to give it a go! Lately I am into the same colors in different shades layered over each other. I love love love this combo

Hope you like! Until next time..
