OPI Austin-tatious Turquoise

Hello again! I first want to say that I know I have been neglecting Let There Be Lacquer lately. These past few weeks have been so hectic with the end of the semester, my new job and my wedding that I have only been blogging when I get a free minute. I hope to be back to posting more frequently when school is out for summer!

Today I have an OPI for you from the Texas Collection. Austin-tatious Turquoise is a lovely teal with lots of sparkle! It has a slight glass fleck finish which is becoming a favorite of mine! The only thing I was not loving about this polish is that it pulled away from my tips. In the pictures below there are 3 coats and it just didn't want to cover my free edge. Regardless I wrapped my tips with top coat and I ended up wearing this for 5 days! Can you believe it! 5 DAYS! I never go that long with the same mani but I was so busy I actually didn't want to repaint them. Either way, this shade is so great, it's one of my favorites.
(I think I say that about all shades!?! ha ha)

3 coats Austin-tatious Turquoise. Seche.

Now that I look at the last photo, it looks like a fourth coat wouldn't have hurt. What do you think?

    1. Maybe this polish is just formulated thin. I don't like the tip thing!

  3. What kind of top coat do you use? I have some top coats that do this too.. I hope you get some well-needed rest over the summer. Trying to juggle it all is rough. I love this color.

  6. I really wanted to love this polish because I adore teal. However, I was super disappointed by how sheer it is.
