I have something different to show you today. You may have seen this technique floating around recently. I got my inspiration from this post. I love how they look! Basically you put some polish on a post-it note and stir it with your tool. I used a toothpick but a dotting tool will work also. When the polish starts to get dry it will get stringy. When you lift your tool from the pool of polish it will create a string of polish. Take that string and lay it over your base color. I wanted to do a gradient but I thought that was kind of ambitious for my first time.
2 coats China Glaze Sea Spray. 1 coat Revlon Electric Pink [accent nail].
I hope you all like! Try it out for yourself and let me know how it turned out!

ReplyDeleteWow it's impressive! I had not seen that before, but it's really interesting! How about the drying time? And I guess it's still bumpy after 1 coat of top coat, right? I'm listing the pros and cons :p
